What are Antibodies?Antibodies are proteins in the blood that are produced in response to foreign substances that invade the body, such as bacteria or viruses.

What does it mean to have or test positive for Antibodies?A positive result to the Antibody Test indicates that you may have had previous exposure to COVID-19 and your body has developed antibodies to fend off the virus.

COVID-19 symptoms* include the following: Fever or chills Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fatigue Muscle or body aches Headache New loss of taste or smell Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea *This does not include all possible symptoms. We will update as information becomes available from the CDC.
-
What if I'm actively infected with Covid-19?If you have tested positive for Covid-19 already, you will not have antibodies until 2 weeks after your infection. There is no need for you to take the Antibody Test.
-
Different Types of Covid-19 tests? There are many types of tests for Covid-19. We are currently only offering the Antibody Test. The Covid-19 Nasal Swab Test is for those who suspect they may be currently infected with COVID-19 because they are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone confirmed to have Covid-19. Whereas, the Antibody Test is for those who don’t currently feel sick but want to find out if they have previously been infected and recovered from the virus.
-
Where is the test processed? We have partner labs across the country that will process your test. We work with Quest, Labcorp and several others, depending on your location.
-
How long does it take to get results? Results are typically available 24-72 hours after your test and they will be emailed to you.
